Frequently asked questions...
1) What does this service cover?
FDMS: We cover tech support on all our services. We can even trouble-shoot other problems you are experiencing.
2) I need an email account, but I don't want to pay for a website right now, can that be possible?
FDMS: Yes. We can set you up to the point that you would have a domain address (something you do need to have so you can have an email account) and all the email addresses you need. The domain/creation of account can take 24 hours, but it is not limited to do so. Once the domain account is created, then your emails can be set up in a matter of hours.
3) I know a little web design myself, and the website you designed for me, I went in and tried to modify it, and I messed it up, can I call you to fix it at no cost to me?
FDMS: No. We will have to go in, and look at the damage done, and give you a quote for the repairs. When we complete something, we give it to you in a completed finished state. If you go in after and make changes and inadvertently mess it up, then we will charge you to fix it. Best way to avoid this, is to make a copy of your new stuff before you begin modifying it.
4) Once I order a web design from you, are you legally bound by the design contract, to update the website at my discretion even after the contracted job is complete?
FDMS: No. This is a very common misunderstanding with clients. A contract to build a website, is not a Maintenance Contract. Both are wholly separate. Once a Web Design is done on our end, the contract is complete. A Web Design Contract is just to build the initial website, nothing beyond that contract. A Maintenance Contract is a contract to provide regular maintenance and updates that you need on your site, such as product updates & info. A Maintenance Contract can be purchased and added to your account.
